I watch a television show about cooking called America's Test Kitchen and they just had a tasting of three grades of Parmigiano Reggiano compared to five so-called parmesan cheeses made in the USA. The Italian cheeses took the top three spots, of course, and tasters commented that the USA cheeses were not even in the same league!
